Statement from United Supermarkets & Market Street about operations in Abilene, TX
ABILENE, Texas — On July 19, the United Supermarkets location at Ambler and Pine Street in Abilene, TX, permanently closed. However, this is the only location in Abilene that will cease operations. The other four remaining locations in Abilene and the one in Clyde will remain open to serve the community. There are no plans for any further store closures.
We want to thank all the guests in Abilene who called the United Supermarkets at Ambler and Pine Street “their United.” We hope they will look to our teams at other locations for continued service for many years to come. Please see the store locations below that are open and ready to serve your everyday needs.
