The United Family invites media to preview new Albertsons Market location
LOVINGTON, N.M. — The United Family will celebrate the debut of its newest Albertsons Market with a private ribbon‑cutting event on Thursday, March 5. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a brief program at the store’s fuel station and tours of the main store. During these tours, members of the media will be granted access for photography and videography.
The event will feature remarks from leadership of The United Family as well as representatives from the City of Lovington, the Lovington EDC, and others. Immediately following the speaking program, there will be a ribbon‑cutting ceremony and a check presentation with multiple local non-profit organizations. Event guests, including members of the media, will then be invited to join a ribbon-cutting at the fuel station and to explore the new location via self-guided tours.
The general public will be welcomed into the store when it
opens for its first day of business at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6.
