United Family stores closed for Easter Holiday on Sunday, April 5

 
LUBBOCK, Texas — The United Family will close all stores and auxiliary operations on Sunday, April 5, 2026, so team members can enjoy a well-deserved day with their families. For its 110 years of operation, the company closed its stores on Easter Sunday.
 
“It has long been our tradition to close on Easter so our team members can spend meaningful time with their loved ones,” said Sidney Hopper, president of The United Family. “I’m deeply thankful for our more than 18,000 team members across Texas and New Mexico. I’m grateful that our teams can take this day to be with family, reflect, and celebrate the season together.”
 
Stores will resume normal operating hours on Monday, April 6.
