The United Family debuts new United Supermarkets location with ribbon-cutting ceremony ahead of grand opening
ANDREWS, Texas — On Thursday, June 25, The United Family debuted its newest United Supermarkets location in Andrews, Texas, to media and community members with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and store tours. The store and its fuel station open to the public on Friday, June 26, at 6 a.m.
This is the first location for The United Family in Andrews. The store continues with the modern evolution of the company’s United Supermarkets banner. The location will bring to Andrews guests the many services and products United Supermarkets is known for throughout West Texas for the first time.
“We are excited and proud to open this new location in the Andrews community,” said Sidney Hopper, president of The United Family. “It is beautiful, spacious, and full of some of the best United Supermarkets has to offer. It is also especially meaningful to our company to expand our footprint into a new community that has shown us so much love and hospitality.”
Some of the features coming to this nearly 50,000 sq ft store include full pharmacy services with a drive-thru; ReadyMeals; an extensive beer and wine selection; a meat service counter with prime selections and fresh seafood; and so much more. This United Supermarkets will also feature a full-service bakery with custom creations and a floral department capable of custom arrangements with delivery services.
“From the drive-thru pharmacy services to the floral department’s custom arrangements, this United Supermarkets location will bring value, quality, and great service to our guests in Andrews,” Hopper said. “We can’t wait to welcome guests through the doors.”

In addition to the main store, the United Express fuel and convenience store will also have several features and services for guests to explore, including 24/7 gas pumps and a drive-thru, giving guests access to everything in the convenience store from the comfort of their vehicle. Guests will also be able to save up to $1 per gallon of gas with the For UTM app.
