The United Family debuts new Albertsons Market location
with ribbon-cutting ceremony ahead of grand opening
LOVINGTON, N.M. — On Thursday, March 5, The United Family debuted its newest Albertsons Market location in Lovington, NM to media and community members with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, and store tours. The store opens to the public on Friday, March 6, at 6 a.m.
This is the first location for The United Family in Lovington. The store continues with the modern evolution of the company’s Albertsons Market banner. The location will bring many of the services and products Albertsons Market is known for throughout the state to Lovington guests for the first time.
“We are excited and proud to open this new location in the Lovington community,” said Sidney Hopper, president of The United Family. “It is beautiful, spacious, and full of some of the best Albertsons Market has to offer. It is also especially meaningful to our company to expand our footprint in a community who has shown us so much love and hospitality.”
Some of the features coming to this nearly 50,000 sq ft store include full pharmacy services with a drive-thru; a large selection of ReadyMeals; an extensive beer, wine, and spirits selection; a meat service counter with great beef selections and fresh seafood; and so much more. This Albertsons Market will also feature a full-service bakery with custom creations and a floral department capable of custom arrangements with delivery services.
“From the drive-thru pharmacy services to the floral department’s custom arrangements, this Albertsons Market location will bring value, quality, and great service to our guests in Lovington,” Hopper said. “We can’t wait to welcome guests through the doors.”

“I have been serving guests across New Mexico and Texas for a long time and am excited to extend our expectational service to Lovington,” Stephens said. “This store has a lot of amazing things to offer, but great service will remain at the core of what we do.
