Market Street & Mrs Baird’s Bread honor three North Texas area teachers as
Teachers on the Rise for March
FRISCO, Texas — The United Family and Mrs Baird’s Bread® announced the March winners of the fifth annual Teachers On The Rise program. Since the program’s launch, nominations have poured in from students and families across North Texas highlighting how teachers go above and beyond the call of duty and deserve special recognition.
Congratulations to our winners from March: Jon Glass of Hebron Valley Stem Academy (Lewisville ISD), Jeanette Toledo of Bowman Middle School (Plano ISD), and Larita Nunez of Frontier Stem Academy (Mansfield ISD).
“Our teachers go above and beyond every single day, and it feels great to shine a spotlight on their hard work,” said Abie Rampy, director of public relations for The United Family. “This program is one of our favorite ways to celebrate the heart of our communities, and we can’t wait to see the amazing educators who will be honored over the last few weeks of the school year.”
"With more than 500 nominations this school year, we are hearing about great accounts of outstanding educators in North Texas classrooms,” said Shane Sumrow, the program’s director. “We encourage students and families to continue sending in nominations through the end of the school year. There is still plenty of time to submit a nomination for your favorite teacher this spring.”
Winning teachers receive a $100 Market Street gift card, a $100 American Express gift card from Mrs Baird’s, and a gift basket full of Mrs Baird’s goodies. The students who nominate a winning teacher also receive a $50 American Express gift card.
